Recently, the Industrial Natural Gas & Green Hydrogen Blending Demonstration Project of Inner Mongolia Huadian Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., undertaken by Xindi Energy Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xindi Energy Engineering"), was successfully ignited and achieved stable operation. This has been reported on the front page of People's Daily Overseas Edition, as well as multiple media outlets such as Xinhua Net and China Energy News. As the earliest project in China to achieve industrial natural gas and green hydrogen blending and apply it to industrial energy supply, it has played a demonstrative and leading role in promoting the large-scale application of green hydrogen in the industrial field and industrial emission reduction.


The overall project adopts the industrial model of " Producing Green Hydrogen from Renewable Electricity, Powering Industries with Green Hydrogen". The main process unit of the project adopts the XD-TY2024 natural gas hydrogen blending equipment independently developed by Xindi Energy Engineering. Through hydrogen stable pressure regulation and metering, static mixer, hydrogen analyzer and supporting chain control system, hydrogen and natural gas are fully mixed, and the green hydrogen produced by customers is stably blended into the raw natural gas required by downstream users. The proportion of industrial natural gas blended with hydrogen in this equipment is as high as 20%, achieving the highest blending ratio of industrial natural gas and green hydrogen. It can consume 2000 tons of green hydrogen annually, effectively improving the combustion and heat transfer efficiency of Class II industrial natural gas, significantly reducing the emissions of pollutants such as carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, and promoting the close connection between the upstream and downstream of the hydrogen energy industry chain and the efficient utilization of energy.

In addition to industrial hydrogen blending scenarios, this equipment can also be applied to hydrogen blending in natural gas pipelines and natural gas refueling stations, providing feasible solutions for multi scenario green hydrogen applications.
Under the "dual carbon" goal, Xindi Energy Engineering has accelerated its layout in the hydrogen energy field by driving business transformation and upgrading through technological equipment and industrial intelligence. It has delivered multiple hydrogen energy projects, including the Xinjiang Huishen Green Electricity Hydrogen Production and Hydrogen Energy Integration Demonstration Project, Zhangjiakou Hydrogen Energy Industrialization Application Demonstration Park Electrolytic Water Hydrogen Production Project, and Huafeng Qingneng "Hydrogen Oil Gas Electricity" Four in One Comprehensive Energy Station, adding a continuous stream of "green power" to the country's high-quality development and low-carbon energy transformation through practical actions.
